Individual or consortium: Single applicants (start-ups, SMEs, research organisations) for Stages 1 and 2; consortia required for Stage 3, led by an AI provider with at least one AI adopter.



Specific eligibility requirements: For Stage 1 and Stage 2, startups, SMEs or research organisations (RTOs or academia); Stage 3, consortia led by an AI provider awarded on the previous stages and with one AI adopter (business, institution, association or organisation). Applicants must be legal entities established in a EU Member State or a country associated to DIGITAL Europe. TRL 7 o above must be demonstrated.



SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES: Open call focused on integration, market uptake, and deployment of AI solutions aligned with the AIoD Platform.



PROJECTS DURATION: Approximately 7 months total: 1 month (Stage 1), 3 months (Stage 2), 3 months (Stage 3).



BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS:

Funding rate: 100% lump sum

Budget conditions / limitations: Up to €60,000 per AI provider; additional €15,000 for AI adopters in Stage 3; lump sum funding per stage. €5,000 for Stage 1, €35,000 for Stage 2, and €20,000 for Stage 3.



Payments: Lump sums paid at the end of each stage upon achievement of milestones and deliverables; Stage 3 payments split into two instalments, 30% as pre-financing and 70% at the end of the project.
