Summary

The FutureProofTextiles project aims to support 40 SMEs in the textile industry as they navigate the dual transition towards digital transformation and green sustainability. The textile sector, vital to the European economy, faces significant challenges in adopting advanced technologies and sustainable practices, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with limited resources. This project provides direct financial support, capacity building, and collaboration opportunities to empower SMEs and enhance their resilience, competitiveness, and innovation potential.

Description

The objective of this first call is to train 20 SMEs in the textile sector to navigate the success of the "transitions behind" digital transformation and true sustainability. In addition to the co-financing subsidy of €60,000 (€50,000 subsidy fixed with a self-financing of €10,000 per SME),

The proposal will require demonstrating a technological readiness level (TRL) of 5 or higher.

Activities must be aligned with a relevant NACE code (or national equivalent), such as:

• Digital and innovative solutions for the textile sector: J62, J63

Who can submit the application:

The sol·licitants must be individual SMEs (consortiums are not admitted) legally established in countries that participate in the Single Market Program, that is, they are members of the EU and countries associated with the Program. Clusters and inter-association organizations are not eligible for SMEs.

The sol·bidants must be SMEs that operate in the textile value chain. SMEs in complementary sectors (for example, technology, machinery) are also eligible, as long as the proposed innovation contributes directly to the textile value chain.
